Non Return Dampers
Non Return Dampers (silver) are gravity shutters. The blades close when there is no pressure pushing from behind, preventing backflow. As soon as the pressure increases the louvres open to release exhaust fumes, allowing for fresh air intake or any surplus pressure. These are most commonly used for large extraction fans or pressurized rooms.
Louvre supply to mining company
We recently manufactured these shutter louvres (grey) for one of South Africa’s largest mining companies, Anglo American, for their Sishen Iron Ore mine. They use them for the release of exhaust fumes on the dump trucks.
